April-June 2021 Severe weather activity – current expectations

  • Through April 30: A few tornadoes expected in Nebraska and Oklahoma.  Hail also expected in these areas. 

  • Through May 31: Much of the tornado threat will be centered in the Plains.  Above-average hail activity expected in Texas.  Near-normal severe weather activity expected nationwide.

  • June 1 – June 30: A few tornadoes in the northeastern U.S. are possible.  Above-average severe weather activity expected nationwide.
